She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of Charles University in Hradec Králové, where she continues her postgraduate studies focusing on research of new technologies in skin tumour diagnostics.
After graduation she joined the surgical department of Litomyšl Hospital. After that, her professional steps were directed exclusively towards plastic surgery. She joined the Plastic Surgery Department of Pardubice Hospital and gained foreign experience at the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Clinic of Cork University Hospital in Ireland. After returning to the Czech Republic, she worked at the Plastic Surgery Department of the Hradec Králové University Hospital and since 2020 she has been working at the Plastic Surgery Clinic of the FNKV, where she is part of the team of the Cleft Centre. She is also working on cleft facial defects at the Ear, Nose and Throat Clinic at Motol University Hospital.
She works as an assistant professor at the 3rd Medical Faculty of Charles University, where she teaches students. She actively participates in national and international congresses and trainings, and publishes her scientific results in national and international professional journals.
Thanks to comprehensive patient care from neonatal age to adulthood, she gains invaluable experience in the development, physiology and anatomy of the face.
